I swear there is no more satisfying and glorious feeling than opening an avocado and finding it perfectly soft and creamy and ripe on the inside.because unfortunately I am obsessed with avocados, and they are the highest-risk gamble in the produce world. you just never know what you're going to find inside.
add some lemon, lime, salt and maybe some chili powder and I will eat the whole thing in one sitting.

I had a long day off on Sunday, so laid in the backyard and read my book and got a light sunburn, and lucked into the pose caught in the photo below. Please note that my adult squint is identical to my childhood squint. those chubby cheeks are here to stay, I'm afraid. I waited years to lose my baby cheeks. Alas, to no avail.
chris wanted to play, but didn't want to risk getting a sunburn. I didn't want to go inside, so while I was reading he put together an offer he thought I wouldn't be able to refuse. A tent in the shade full of pillows and blankets and Happy dog and a tv playing Harry Potter.
After he had lured me in with the Harry Potter, we switched it out for Life of Pi, and the 3 of us sat in that tent all evening.
